Read up, talk to friends and family, watch documentaries, and don't get all of your information from one source.

Signing petitions is one way to get things done. Don't agree with a law or program? Want something new implemented? Sign a petition and spread the word about petitions so you can help them earn their goal. Make sure to research what you are petitioning for before you sign them so you can make sure you are supporting the right thing for the right reasons. Volunteer Your Time

Volunteering is one of the best ways to help make a difference in your community, whether that means peacefully protesting for what you believe in or helping out with organizations that are near and dear to your heart. Be active in your community.

If you are able to, donating to organizations and programs are so important. Donating allows for organizations and programs to take that money and put it where it matters. Make sure to research the organizations and programs that you are donating your money to so you know that your money is going to the right place. Vote

This is probably the most important way that you can help make change in the world. Vote! As soon as you are of age, vote for the officials you want in office and would most likely bring the change that you want to see. It is vital that the people in office are the ones who are hearing our voices and take actions for it. Vote in the primaries, your local elections, and the presidential election.
